moonlight ii

moonlight ii

fluorescent pink
from your mothers fury
as she reverses
back into the bedroom

left alone
her screams
churning to silence
within you

later
the hush of the sea
leaning upon the shore
of a shoulder

your eyes bleed
moonlight
neon scratches
blush blossom

the breeze finds you
before it fades
a boy again
bathed in blue

* moonlight poems inspired by the film, which I am convinced is one of the most beautiful films.
