Shoals Poetry Night 2025

Join us for the third annual Shoals Poetry Night, an evening of captivating readings and new work from local poets at Rockets & Rascals on the Barbican.
We’ll be celebrating a reworked collection, a debut, and a new second collection — with readings from Dan Hartigan, Elena Brake, Andrew Martin, and Brian Herdman.
The evening will be compered by Matt Thomas, who’ll be sharing a poem or two from his own collections between acts.
As always, the night will be relaxed, welcoming, and full of conversation — a chance to enjoy poetry and support local authors and independent publishing.
