from faraway fields
blesses from blossom
calmness of cobbles
stroked by sun
the sun's pelt
still attached to the pinprick
of it's dark heart
the sigh of shadows
creeping in and out of corners
the silence
brimming in bells
all the wishes
weeping from wells
spindrift of stars
dusting silent streets
skyscrapers
scraping at the night
the lacework of birdsong
spilled between streetlights
the blackness from blackberries
the moon's melody
plumes of pillows
fire from feathers
fur from my furnace
